Conventional models are generally designed to license a fixed function range, i.e. you pay for everything in advance, whether or not you use all the functionality.  With us it's different - you only pay for the functions you actually use. How? It's quite simple:

The full function range is always available to you. To guarantee this, everyone can download the software platform PAS4000 free of charge. It's totally up to you whether you use the chargeable functions on offer or program the required functionality yourself.

Purchasing a licence

You must purchase a licence. However, you only need to pay for the functions you actually use within a project. The various functions are assigned a points value, known as PASunits.

PASunits

PASunits include the various program editors, Pilz pre-defined function blocks and also special network functions. Once a project has been tested by the user and is to be released for production mode, it is licensed in PAS4000. During this process, the PASunits for the functions used in the project are calculated and then booked to this project from the software's points account. PASunits can be purchased from Pilz to top up the points account.
