Speed and standstill on your drives can not only be monitored through a drive-integrated solution, but can also be safely monitored externally using Pilz products:

The speed and standstill monitors access measurements in the motor's feedback system. The speed information signalled from the encoder is forwarded to the converter. The speed and standstill monitors record the relevant signals and evaluate them in terms of safety, without influencing them. Adaptation to all common encoder systems is guaranteed by appropriate adapters.

Increase the safety of your drives by monitoring:

• Overspeed (up to 8 different limit values can be set)
• Direction of rotation
